I am invisible.

I wake up every day and go about my invisible ways. I walk around with my invisible dogs and play invisible fetch with them. I feed them their invisible food and pet their invisible heads. Sometimes we even sit on the couch, all of us, and drink our invisible coffee. They bark at invisible things that no one else can see.

I go to my invisible job and teach my invisible students. They look at the fabrication I have made of myself and don’t know that it isn’t real. I smile my invisible smile and go on about my invisible day. I drive in my invisible truck back and forth each day on the invisible roads.

I talk to my invisible friends on the phone, many of whom I have never seen. I use the invisible internet to pretend I have a real life. No one has seen it and so it is invisible.

I go on invisible dates and wear my invisible new dress and shoes to invisible places that I can only dream about going.

I make invisible plans to do impossible things which never happen.

I am sitting at my invisible desk typing on my invisible computer which I got for my invisible business. I play my invisible games and practice my invisible language. I cry invisible tears of loneliness.

I go to the invisible gym and lift invisible weights. I eat invisible food for my invisible muscles and I worry about my invisible fat.

I tell my invisible heart that one day someone will see me. One day I will see myself in my invisible mirror in my invisible bathroom in my invisible apartment.
